Maggie & Logan’s Family-Focused Fall Wedding at Douglas Manor

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Others are unforgettable because of the people. Maggie and Logan’s October 2024 wedding at Douglas Manor managed to be both — a day full of intentional moments, stunning fall tones, and the kind of family-centered love you can feel in the room.

From the start, it was clear this wasn’t just a wedding about two people getting married — it was about celebrating a family.

A Fall Day That Understood the Assignment

October showed up exactly how couples hope it will. Crisp air, gorgeous light, and weather that made every outdoor moment feel effortless. Douglas Manor provided the perfect backdrop, with florals and décor that leaned into fall without going over the top.

Think warm, fall-inspired tones that felt intentional and elevated — not heavy or overwhelming. Everything worked together seamlessly, allowing the space (and the people in it) to shine.

A Ceremony Centered on Family

Maggie and Logan’s ceremony was one of those moments where the room just felt still — in the best way. Emotional, heartfelt, and deeply personal, it reflected exactly who they are and what matters most to them.

They chose to include a sand unity ceremony, intentionally involving their kids in the process. Watching their sons take part wasn’t just symbolic — it was a powerful reminder that this day was about blending lives and building something together.

There wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

A First Dance No One Will Forget

And then came the moment that truly set the tone for the night.

Instead of a traditional first dance track, one of Maggie and Logan’s sons sang their first dance song — “Thank God” by Kane Brown — live.

It was sweet, emotional, and completely unexpected in the best way. You could feel the entire room lean in. That performance didn’t just kick off the dances — it created a shared moment that everyone would remember long after the night ended.

This is one of those reminders we love sharing with couples: the most meaningful moments aren’t always the ones you plan down to the second — sometimes they’re the ones that come straight from the heart.

Right after the first dance, Maggie took another intentional moment — dedicating her bouquet to her mom, and thanking her for everything she did to help plan their wedding day.

Two+ Hours of a Packed Dance Floor

Once the formal dances wrapped up, the party officially started — and it didn’t slow down!

The dance floor stayed packed for over two hours with a mix that truly reflected Maggie and Logan’s crowd:

  • Classic country favorites

  • Rap throwbacks

  • 90s hits everyone knows by heart

This was the kind of dance floor where generations mixed effortlessly — kids, parents, and friends all finding their moments to jump in. The energy stayed high from the first open dance song to the very last track.

A Day That Felt Like Them

Maggie and Logan’s wedding was a perfect example of what happens when couples focus less on what they “should” do and more on what feels right for their family.

Beautiful details, emotional moments, and a dance floor that didn’t quit — all rooted in love, intention, and connection.

We’re so honored to have been part of a day that celebrated not just a marriage, but a family coming together in the most genuine way.
