A Classic Spring Wedding at Camelot Manor

The Harrison’s wedding day was one of those days that felt timeless in all the right ways — classic, intentional, and full of energy from start to finish.

Lydia and Douglas chose Camelot Manor as their venue, and it truly set the tone for the entire day. The space already brings so much character, and paired with their design choices, it all came together effortlessly.

Soft butter yellow showed up throughout the day — from the florals, to the bridesmaids’ dresses and their getting-ready pajamas — adding a springy, cohesive feel that carried from morning all the way into the reception.

The guys brought a completely different (and very fun) energy to the start of the day, showing up “game day” style — jerseys on, suits in hand. It was the perfect contrast extra step that honestly set the tone for how much fun we would all have that day.

Meaningful Moments Before “I Do”

Before the ceremony, Lydia shared a first look with her dad — a moment that felt just as meaningful as you’d expect — followed by a first look with Douglas. From there, the two exchanged private vows at the ceremony altar, giving themselves a quiet moment together before everything officially began.

Douglas also surprised Lydia with a pearl bracelet — such a thoughtful touch and one of those pieces she can wear for years to come and be instantly reminded of their wedding day.

After portraits wrapped up, the energy excitedly shifted as everyone made their way toward the ceremony space.

Down the Aisle

Then came the moment we all were there for!

Their “flower grandmas” absolutely stole the show, bringing so much personality down the aisle.

Lydia was then escorted by her dad — who also officiated the ceremony — which made the entire moment feel even more meaningful and personal.

The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous; both sentimental and fun at the same time.

Cocktails, Conversations & Guestbook Messages

Following the ceremony, guests had time to mingle, grab signature drinks, and leave messages on our audio guestbook. This is always one of our favorite interactive activities throughout the night — people really lean into it in the best way! We get messages from sentimental, to guests singing along to what song is playing, to guests ordering pizza (happens more than you think)!

Cue the Cake

Then it was time to officially kick off the reception. The wedding party and newlyweds showed out during their introductions, leading right into the first dance. Followed by the father-daughter and mother-son dances.

And of course, the cake cutting and a little champagne toast for the bride and groom — because you’ve got to have a little sugar to fuel those dancefloor antics.

From First Song to Last Dance

This was one of those nights the dance floor stayed packed!!

From the very first song, guests were all in — singing, jumping, and fully committing to the moment. The overall vibe of the couples pre-request list (what they gave us on the music portal) leaned heavily into crowd-favorite, feel-good anthems. With a mix of 2010’s throwbacks, southern sing-along staples, and just the right amount of high-energy party tracks.

We added our picks to the music mix and it was the kind of genre-surfing set that keeps every generation involved — those songs everyone knows and instantly fill a dance floor.

Ending the Night in Style

They wrapped up the night with a sendoff full of Alabama and Auburn shakers (a very fitting touch for this crowd), before hopping into a vintage white Rolls-Royce and heading out as newlyweds!

Lydia and Douglas’ day was the perfect balance of classic and fun — thoughtful in all the right places, but never taking itself too seriously. Exactly the kind of celebration we love being a part of.

Cheers to the Harrisons!
